Common questions

How many scans do I get for free?

Three per day. Barcode scans and pasted ingredient lists share the same bucket. The counter resets at local midnight. Upgrade to Sprig+ for unlimited scans.

What's in Sprig+?

Unlimited scans, “Cleaner Picks” (specific brand alternatives for every disruptor flagged), saved lists for your personal “yes” and “never” library, and no ads. $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not me: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sprig+ → Cancel. You keep access through the end of your paid period.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

My scan returned “No product found”

Sprig looks barcodes up against Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts, and Open Products Facts. If a product isn’t in any of them, the lookup fails. You can still paste the ingredients list directly via the Paste tab, or contribute the product to Open Food Facts to help everyone.

A product I trust got a bad grade — is your data wrong?

Maybe. Sprig flags compounds with published endocrine or reproductive disruption concerns; reasonable scientists disagree on some entries, and brands occasionally reformulate. If you think we’ve scored something incorrectly, email sprig@onequarkmedia.com with the barcode and I’ll take another look.

Is Sprig medical advice?

No. Sprig is an educational tool. Always talk to your doctor about fertility, pregnancy, and chemical-exposure decisions. See the Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.

Does Sprig collect my data?

No. Sprig has no analytics, no account system, and no server I operate beyond barcode lookups against public databases. Every scan and saved item lives only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for specifics.
